Daytona Event Information, Run Groups, & Worker Assignments

In order to keep all of the details accessible in one location, we have created an external event page that can be found at: http://bit.ly/2q0dPRj. This will have all of the event information loaded to it as we have it settled.

As of this morning, you can find the Event Schedule, Run Groups, and the Worker Assignments uploaded. Please review the document and if anything about your registration information looks incorrect, let us know immediately via Email @ RallyCross@cfrscca.org.

Just 11 more days to go!

Daytona Course Design!

---
Below is our approved course design for Saturday. This is a preliminary design that has been approved, and as we begin course setup on Friday, we will be making minor adjustments to this if we feel a portion of the course is not easily readable or if there is a potential for a car to put in a loss of control situation. Also, all portions of the field will be covered with compacted dirt. The course will not have any exposed tarmac.
---
During competition, all corner workers will need to be stationed on the outer portions of the course in order to verify that no spectators make their way onto the competition surface. The side roads along Lake Lloyd will have vehicle traffic on them, and the grandstand will be open for spectators to watch from.
---
If the event runs smoothly, and we have no/minimal issues on Saturday, we will be looking to open up the course a little more on Sunday. We will be providing an additional document with run orders, corner worker assignments, and corner worker stations.

Study up! See you all in the dirt!

Just over two weeks away!

We are starting to come into the final stretch and final pre-preparation for the event are getting dialed in. On a conference call last night, we received confirmation that our Saturday track design has been approved by DIS, and we once we get the venue map cleaned up, we will be publishing the design for all of our competitors to see. Also, along with that design will be a event schedule, group run schedule, and worker assignments for the event.

We will be reviewing these assignments during the driver's meeting on Saturday morning, but please make sure you are aware of your assignment and understand where you need to be and when before the event. This will tremendously help with the event fluidity.

We are almost there!
